Shipping Policy

How we handle, pack, and dispatch your research compounds — and what to expect upon delivery.

Last updated: April 2025

1. Overview

Fab Peptides is committed to ensuring that all research-grade compounds are dispatched securely, discreetly, and with the integrity of the product fully maintained throughout the supply chain. This Shipping Policy sets out the terms under which we process, pack, and deliver orders placed on our platform.

All orders are dispatched from our UK-based temperature-controlled facility. By placing an order with Fab Peptides, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Research Use Only. All products shipped by Fab Peptides are supplied exclusively for scientific research and laboratory purposes. They are not for human consumption, personal use, or veterinary application.

2. Order Processing

Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Orders placed before our daily cut-off time will typically be processed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or over the weekend, will be processed on the next available business day.

Processing Times

  • Same-day dispatch: Orders confirmed before 1:00 PM GMT on business days.
  • Next-day dispatch: Orders confirmed after 1:00 PM GMT, or on weekends/bank holidays.
  • You will receive an automated dispatch notification email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking reference.

In the event of an unforeseen delay to your order, we will contact you by email as promptly as possible.

3. Shipping Methods & Rates

All UK orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24, ensuring a fully tracked chain of custody from our facility to your delivery address.

Service Estimated Delivery Cost
Royal Mail Tracked 24 Next working day Standard rate at checkout
Free Delivery Next working day Free on all orders over £100

Delivery timescales are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Fab Peptides cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather conditions, or other circumstances outside our control.

We currently dispatch to UK mainland addresses only. Please refer to Section 10 for information on international orders.

4. Packaging & Cold Chain Integrity

All Fab Peptides products are lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide compounds supplied in sealed glass vials. To preserve compound stability throughout transit, we apply the following packaging standards on every order:

  • All vials are individually wrapped and secured within rigid, impact-resistant inner packaging to prevent movement during transit.
  • Orders are dispatched in plain, discreet outer packaging with no product branding or reference to contents visible externally.
  • Where required, appropriate insulating materials are used to maintain suitable temperature conditions throughout the transit period.
  • Each parcel includes a packing slip confirming your order details and product references for laboratory traceability.
Important: Although lyophilised peptides are stable at ambient temperature for short transit periods, we recommend ensuring a designated recipient is available at the delivery address to accept the parcel promptly and transfer contents to appropriate storage without delay.

5. Tracking & Order Confirmation

Once your order has been packed and handed to Royal Mail, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email to your registered email address. This email will confirm your shipment details and provide your Royal Mail tracking reference number.

You can track your parcel at any time using your tracking reference directly on the Royal Mail website at www.royalmail.com.

If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within one business day of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us at info@fabpeptides.uk.

6. Receipt & Handling upon Delivery

Upon receipt of your order, please inspect the outer packaging carefully before accepting the delivery. We strongly recommend the following procedure upon arrival of all Fab Peptides consignments:

  • Ensure a designated, qualified recipient is present to accept the parcel at the time of delivery.
  • Inspect the external packaging for any signs of damage, tampering, or mishandling prior to opening.
  • Open the parcel in a suitable laboratory environment and inspect all vials for visible damage before use.
  • Transfer vials to appropriate storage conditions immediately upon receipt (see Section 7).
  • Retain all packaging materials and documentation until the integrity of the contents has been fully confirmed.

7. Storage Conditions upon Arrival

To maintain the structural integrity, purity, and stability of all lyophilised peptide compounds, the following storage conditions must be observed immediately upon receipt:

Recommended Storage Parameters

  • Short-term or immediate analytical use: Refrigerate at 4°C in a sealed, moisture-free environment.
  • Long-term storage: Store in a cryogenic environment or standard laboratory freezer at -20°C.
  • Before use: Allow vials to reach ambient room temperature naturally before opening or introducing any solvent for in-vitro reconstitution.
  • Avoid: Repeated freeze-thaw cycles, direct sunlight, and exposure to moisture or humid environments prior to reconstitution.

Fab Peptides accepts no liability for compound degradation arising from failure to observe appropriate storage conditions following delivery.

8. Damaged Goods in Transit

In the rare event that your order arrives with visible physical damage to the packaging or internal vial glass seals attributable to mishandling during courier transit, please follow the procedure below:

  • Do not discard any packaging, vials, or materials until the matter has been fully resolved.
  • Photograph the outer packaging, inner packaging, and all affected vials clearly, showing the nature and extent of the damage.
  • Submit photographic evidence to our compliance desk at info@fabpeptides.uk within 4 hours of delivery.
  • Include your order number and a brief description of the damage in your correspondence.
Please note: Damage claims submitted more than 4 hours after confirmed delivery may not be eligible for resolution. We are unable to accept claims based on photographic evidence taken after contents have been handled, opened, or altered.

Valid claims will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Where liability is established, we will arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution at our discretion.

9. Failed Deliveries

If Royal Mail is unable to deliver your parcel due to no one being present at the delivery address, a calling card will be left and the parcel held at your local delivery office for collection, in line with Royal Mail's standard procedures.

Fab Peptides cannot be responsible for any compound degradation arising from delayed collection following a failed delivery attempt. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure a suitable recipient is available to accept the parcel or to arrange prompt collection.

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange re-dispatch. Additional shipping charges may apply.

10. International Shipping

Fab Peptides currently dispatches to UK mainland addresses only. We do not currently offer international shipping.

Customers outside the United Kingdom should not place orders at this time. Any orders placed from outside the UK may be cancelled and refunded at our discretion.

We will update this policy in the event that international shipping becomes available.

11. Liability

Risk of loss and title for products passes to the customer upon dispatch from our facility. Once the parcel has been handed to Royal Mail, Fab Peptides' direct liability for the physical condition of the consignment is governed by Royal Mail's own terms and conditions of carriage.

Fab Peptides shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from shipping delays, failed deliveries, or damage in transit beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability in relation to any shipping matter shall not exceed the value of the order in question.
